与古神对话：魔兽世界古神语写作不完全指北

　　重头戏来了！

　　我们应该都还记得，游戏中还有不少“尚未解明”的古神语句，其中一大部分是被木瓜之锤掳走而精神崩溃的，这部分由于资料所限，解明的难度比较高……但是和尤格萨隆有关的几句，在难易度上就相对低很多很多。

　　为什么？因为尤格萨隆他……给我们留了遗言！

　　那么……在继续这未知的探寻之前，我们得先达成几个共识，才能推出一个“可能”的结论：

　　1>古神语中词义接近的词汇间，存在由变形达成的词义转换。

　　2>密语翻译也许只能表达出某一句古神语的“意义”，而无法完全与之对应。

　　3>游戏中给出的古神语文本存在口音。举个例子的话就是，W'ssh应该和W'ssht是等同的。

　　4>尤格萨隆的解谜箱确实地解答了他的遗言。

　　没错……能解答尤格萨隆死前遗言和其他某些句子的可能性，正是存在于装满了他另一堆遗言的解谜箱。那么首先我们就研究一下他的遗言，和其他几个看上去可解的句子吧。

　　Yrr n'lyeth... shuul anagg!

　　Uulwi ifis halahs gag erh'ongg w'ssh.

　　Pwhn'guul i ghawl'fwata ryiu wgah uul'gwan h'iwn guu'lal.

　　Uulwi gag erh'ongg w'ssht.

　　那么……根据已有的资料的话，我们可以简单地看出Shuul = Death，Gag = Will，Halahs = Corpse或是类似的，H'iwn = All……嗯，就这么多。似乎有点凄凉啊。

　　那么没有办法，到遗言库里去按关键词来找找看吧。

　　带有“Will”的字段：

　　Look around... They will all betray you... Flee screaming into the black forest...

　　Open me! Open me! Open me! Then only will you know peace.

　　You resist... You cling to your life as if it actually matters... You will learn...

　　You will all be alone in the end.

　　带有“All”的字段：

　　The fish know all the secrets. They know the cold. They know the dark.

　　Look around... They will all betray you... Flee screaming into the black forest...

　　All places, all things have souls... All souls can be devoured...

　　接下来……就是猜的时间了。那么来仔细研究一下这个句子和它的变种：

　　Uulwi ifis halahs gag erh'ongg w'ssh.

　　Uulwi gag erh'ongg w'ssht.

　　首先，这个句子在失去了“Ifis Halahs”之后是仍然能够成立的，尽管结尾的W'ssh变成了W'ssht。然而W'ssh和W'ssht的读音差别却并不大，我们暂且将其等同就好。

　　那么，由于Gag = Will的位置是确定的，句首的东西多半就是主语了——Uulwi。在已知的词汇中，最接近的是Uull = Darkness和Uuyat = Agony，从读音上看的话，Uull和Uulwi相对比较接近；那么就暂且把它当成Uull吧。

　　这个句子就变成了：

　　Uull [ifis halahs] gag erh'ongg w'ssht.

　　Darkness (and) [ifis halahs] will () earth ().

　　那么……进入第一个瓶颈了。不过，还是有办法，毕竟我们已经知道“古神语所表达的是意义”，而不必过分拘泥于词汇的对应才是。那么，我们回到尤格萨隆说出这句话的情境看看好了。

　　Yogg-Saron yells: The end of days is finally upon you and ALL who inhabit this miserable little seedling. Uulwi ifis halahs gag erh'ongg w'ssh.

　　而在木瓜高地的矮人结婚任务中，麦克格拉夫变成的的那只无面者喊出的则是：

　　The Beast Unleashed/Grundy MacGraff yells: BY BLOOD AND SHADOW!

　　The Beast Unleashed yells: I shall consume your lifeblood in the name of the master!

　　The Beast Unleashed yells: Uulwi gag erh'ongg w'ssh.

　　也就是说，这两句所表达的一个意义是明确的“你们都会毁灭”。

　　那么接下来的事情就好办多了。这个Ongg = Earth所表达的意思显然就是“世界”本身。那么，退回我们之前找到的字段，能和这两重意义搭边的就只有……

　　You will all be alone in the end.

　　单纯从意义上看的话……我们可以理解成，“我们的黑暗最终会让你孤身一人迷失在外(其他人都死了)”或者干脆就是“我们的黑暗会让这片大地上不剩一人”，这里也可以稍微对应一下之前的Shgla'yos。

　　那么……这个句子，显然，必须和Earth, Azeroth或是Darkness沾上边才行……稍微改造之后的结果大概就是：

　　Uulwi gag erh'ongg w'ssh.

　　Darkness will isolate the earth in the end.

　　所以……这个句子差不多就是这样了吧，只是Ifis Halahs的意义仍然没办法去解明，从形式上看的话Ifis也许会是Ilfah的复数形式……不过能确定的只有，Ifis Halahs是能和Uulwi共同构成主语的。

　　那么，第二组解句。

　　因为时间不太多了我就以结论为主了……推论方式和第一组解句是类似的。

　　Pwhn'guul i ghawl'fwata ryiu wgah uul'gwan h'iwn guu'lal.

　　这个出自考古文物的句子，无疑是改造自爱手艺的名篇《克苏鲁的呼唤》中著名的：

　　“Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.”

　　这句话的意思是“In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.”

　　虽然在两者之间找相似点并不是不行，但是我们是可以基本确定原句中的Uul接近于Darkness，而H'iwn = All。经过和第一组解句类似的推演，我们可以得出这句话大体是可以对应于：

　　The fish know all the secrets. They know the cold. They know the dark.

　　All places, all things have souls... All souls can be devoured...

　　两者是都有可能的，前者中的Cold和Dark实际上可以整合到第一小句中成为主语，而第二句则可以将Darkness变成Devour的使用者；此外，这是奈幽文物，但变成的是其拉虫……

　　因而结合克苏鲁的呼唤的原句中(拉莱耶是位于水下的)，我个人更偏向于第一句。改造后的句子如下：

　　Pwhn'guul i ghawl'fwata ryiu wgah uul'gwan h'iwn guu'lal.

　　The fish know the cold and the dark as they know all the secrets.

　　这个Fish自然指代的就是水下的什么东西了。因为是复数，或许是指代奈亚罗萨中，恩佐斯的水生无面者军团也并非没有可能。

　　那么……第三组。

　　Yrr n'lyeth... shuul anagg.

　　我们能明白的只有……Shuul = Death。凄惨啊。

　　然而，N'lyeth是个值得注意的部分，单单拿出来看再联想一下之前的Shgla'yos的话，不难想到水下疯狂之都的名字，Ny'alotha。

　　In the land of Ny'alotha there is only sleep...

　　In the sleeping city of Ny'alotha walk only mad things.

　　Ny'alotha is a city of old, terrible, unnumbered crimes...

　　对应的句子就只有这三句了。

　　我个人倾向于是第一句。除去Yrr和Yeh读音接近之外，对于古神来讲，没有“死亡”的概念，所以Shuul在古神语中的意义很可能实际接近于“长眠”而非“死亡”。当然，直接出结论的原因还有时间不太够

　　那么，改造后的句子如下：

　　The Ny'alotha... Death inside!

　　Yrr n'lyeth... shuul anagg.

　　这句话的出处是尤格萨隆战中，阿尔萨斯的梦境。紧接着这句台词之后尤格萨隆就会说“He will learn... no king rules forever; only death is eternal!”虽然这里尤格嘲讽阿尔萨斯变成LK的成分应该多一些。不过单从句子来看的话，这后半句是对前半句的翻译的可能性也是存在的——即是说，这句话的可能解法有两种：

　　Yrr n'lyeth... shuul anagg.

　　The Ny'alotha... Death inside!

　　Yrr n'lyeth... shuul anagg.

　　He learned... eternity of death.

　　仍然是资料所限……没办法得出更进一步的解答了。

　　那么，整理一下并不能够完全确定的解句中得出的词汇表吧：
